We’re a husband and wife team who believe in the power of story — both in life and in the brands we build. Over the years, we’ve been part of founding multiple companies, and what has always drawn us back is the creative spark of building something new: the chance to tell a story, to create a brand with meaning, and to connect with others through thoughtful design.

When we set out to start Salterra, we wanted to do something together — something that reflected our shared love of travel, the outdoors, and the places that have shaped who we are. From coastal towns to mountain ranges, there are certain places that stay with you. They remind you of what matters, ground you, and inspire you. We wanted to capture that feeling through a brand.

Having worked in the apparel world before, we also knew we wanted to do things differently this time. The traditional model of mass production creates so much waste — both environmentally and financially. We knew there had to be a better way.

At Salterra, we focus on high-quality, thoughtfully sourced apparel and accessories, printed on demand. We design every piece ourselves, inspired by the destinations we love. This approach allows us to create intentionally, to listen to what our customers want, and to introduce new designs without the waste of excess inventory.

It also means we move at a slower, more deliberate pace — a welcome contrast to fast fashion. Each piece is made to order, with care, so it may take a little longer to arrive, but we believe it’s worth the wait.
